The Association of Service and Computer Dealers International (ASCDI) is a worldwide association representing IT companies that provide hardware, software, maintenance services, leasing services, business solutions, technical support and value added services, whose mission is to:
Promote a viable independent IT industry.
Promote and enforce high ethical standards of business conduct within the industry.
Promote legislation that encourages free markets.
Create forums to promote the exchange of ideas among its membership, the industry and manufacturers.
Provide educational and promotional opportunities to enable its membership to grow.
Represent and promote its members to the IT user community, manufacturers, government agencies, other associations and the media.

LIFT is a non-for-profit economic development organization working with the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). LIFT serves as NYSTAR®’s designated Regional Technology Development Center for Long Island and one of nearly 350 MEP locations across the country.
LIFT has an industry-driven initiative structure, providing Long Island businesses with networking opportunities, access to enabling technologies, hands-on assistance and a wide range of programs directed at creating an environment for innovation, lowering the cost of operations and increasing growth, focused on creating Long Island’s future.
LIFT supports the defense and aerospace, medical device and healthcare, homeland security, energy, information technology and manufacturing clusters of the Long Island economy. We partner with local companies, organizations, Universities and the National Laboratory Systems.

NEDRIX (Northeast Disaster Recovery Information X-Change) is a non-profit organization, formed in 1991, that provides continuity and crisis management professionals access to real time governmental agencies information during a crisis or event. This is accomplished through our Public / Private Sector (PPS) Directive and our automated notification tool, NEDRIX Notify*.
Through NEDRIX Notify we have the ability to coordinate bi-directional communications bringing the latest incident assessment to our members and providing any business impact back to the governmental agencies.
NEDRIX has PPS teams throughout the Northeast that are led by the Board Director of the PPS initiative. There are Team Leaders identified for each State along with Team Members that work with their State and local government to act as a liaison between the public and private sectors.
NEDRIX also provide industry best practices and an opportunity to meet and share ideas and experiences with peers through conferences and symposiums held throughout the year.
Our members receive continuing education points for all our conferences and events which is needed for them to maintain the Continuity Business professional certification.
